@DebiNJ Hello. Are they pinchy at all in the weeks that follow after placement? The Plla are said to be pinchy for weeks after placement. Maybe not with that size?

Product/collagen buildup around eyes

Does anyone else have the issues of product building up and not spreading, especially around the eyes? It’s definitely starting to show on me…

Hi Laura! Ah, so sorry Laura! 😔 #Gouri as you know is a liquid PCL collagen biostimulator, meaning it works by triggering a controlled inflammatory response that stimulates fibroblasts to gradually produce collagen over time. Because of that mechanism, placement and technique matter. If product is placed too superficially, over-concentrated in one area, layered too frequently, injected into very thin tissue, like the forehead, or done without proper attention to vascular anatomy, the risk of nodules, delayed inflammatory reactions, uneven collagen stimulation, or localized product pooling increases. Alternative placement patterns such as an Iniblanc-style approach may concentrate product differently, which can raise the likelihood of clustering if not performed conservatively. The standardized BAP method is often preferred because it relies on strategic points that allow broader diffusion, helping reduce the chance of excessive buildup in a single area, conservative treatment and spacing is important. Around the eyes and the horn could be product clustering. With collagen stimulators, some firmness or small bumps can soften over time as collagen remodels and the product integrates. At 2 months, it’s still relatively early in the collagen cycle. If it’s not red, painful, or growing, there is a good chance it may continue to improve. That said, if it’s tender, inflamed, or...

@Laurark43 hello. Yes, I had this happened to me with Gouri as well. But I can say that the bump did resolve over sometime, maybe at the 7-8wk mark. Your eye are does look good. Just a suggestion, I had to do this - maybe fill in temple area to even out?
