Arielle, for those of us who love your posts and humor — it is not surprising you were on the cusp of doing stand-up comedy! You do a deadpan look in your videos when you’re either surprised or not 100% pleased, yet have the poise to never be discouraged! It’s very endearing. 😁
I sent messages to YouTube yesterday about the unfair and vague legal language YouTube, and parent company GOOGL/ALPHABET use for YouTube. It’s not complicated — it’s a pick and choose policy to fit their narrative.
@R_Yochum Agree wholeheartedly. I try to always consider setbacks or not-so-pleasant news as an opportunity to be had. Also, supportive friends and a community backing Kim and her company — it speaks volumes to the good things that are going on here. Truly. 😊
I went over YouTube’s policies before I sent my messages to them this morning and they are really really reaching with their language — if not just blatantly targeting Kim. I’m a commercial real estate broker among other endeavors and negotiate legal language, and wording all of the time for big corporations.
YouTube/GOOGL/ALPHABET (parent company) left these broad, hole-in-logic policies to create what seems like a sh!t list with loop holes for YouTube to decide or twist the intention and content into something “dangerous” when the reality is we (Tribers, Followers, YouTubers) all decide for ourselves to press Play, watch and/or DIY safely. YouTube is in a sense deciding for us who love this community and Kim, that they “know better” than us. Such garbage.
I’ve sent 2 messages to YouTube about this. Completely ridiculous they treat you this way Kim. All of us here in the app and beyond stand behind you!
