Hi Noelle! I’ve been meaning to write a response to you. After I saw your post, I immediately went and bought this device. This device has a very high fluence (24 J/cm2) which means it is a very strong machine and will take fewer sessions to get the results you want. I did a test with mine on very dark freckles and I couldn’t believe how effective it was. Most machines on the market are a max of 6-8 J/cm2 which means more frequent treatments for a longer period of time. I bought mine lightly used as it’s no longer being sold; something tells me they took it off the market because it’s such a high strength machine. The Remington machines that have come out since are much lower in fluence. Yes, you can use this on your face with care as it comes with a narrower attachment. At this fluence, it would be a good idea to use it lightly and with eye protection. Thanks so much for sharing this machine with the community!
